Bio+Tech was created to do just that – meld folks with bio expertise with those on the tech side of the house.  The group was established to bring bio folks who are interested in tech in to the same space as tech folks interested in computational problems in biology.  San Francisco itself is a hub of the tech and the bio industries – that makes it a prime candidate to be in the middle of the bio+tech world!

After a long absence we’re glad to be starting back up again in conjunction with Hackers and Founders!  Bio+Tech was started as a monthly meet-up to bring together some of the best creative and innovative minds within the biotechnology related industries and facilitate high-level interaction amongst developers, researchers, business minds, and people interested in start-ups. Bio+Tech is a free event and is aimed at reducing the barriers in networking within the high-technology sectors that are essential to the growth of biotechnology, pharma, energy, materials, and health related business.
